Jeseni bomo lahko videli novi film Damjana Kozoleta, najbolj znanega kot režiserja in scenarista Rezervnih delov (2003), ki je zaradi nesporazumov s filmskim skladom njegov zadnji pravi celovečerni film. Slovenka bo premiero prikazana konec avgusta na festivalu v Sarajevu, tu je nov napovednik:
V intervjuju z režiserjem na strani www.slovenka.si lahko preberemo, kako je film nastal.
Na Twitterju pa sem za pet vprašanjc poiskal enega od scenaristov, Matevža Luzarja (www.matevzluzar.com), tudi avtorja izredno lepo sprejetega kratkega filma Vučko (2007), sicer njegovega diplomskega filma.
Kakšne vloge si imel pri filmu Slovenka?
K filmu sem bil povabljen kot scenarist v zaključni fazi scenarija. Damjan in Ognjen (Sviličić) sta že nekaj časa sodelovala skupaj na scenariju.
Kako je potekalo skupno pisanje?
Skupnega pisanja ni bilo. Bilo je par zelo intenzivnih sestankov, kako bi se določene scene spremenilo oziroma kaj bi se še dodalo ali odvzelo. Potem se je napisalo. Je pa scenarij “živa” tvorba, ki se spreminja na vajah z igralci, snemanju in montaži.
Poveš kaj o Damjanu Kozoletu umetniku?
Damjan Kozole režiser je v zadnjih letih delal filme, ki so odražali stanje v Sloveniji. Ti filmi so bi dobro sprejeti na festivalih po svetu.
Imaš v načrtu, morda v kotičku sanj že svoj celovečerni prvenec?
Trenutno dokončujem scenarij za svoj prvi celovečerni film in vsa moja energija je in bo v naslednjem letu posvečena temu filmu. Kakšna bo tema in žanr, pa še ne povem.
Na morje si baje vzel 84 najpomembnejših DVD-jev. Izbereš sedem najljubših?
Ne morem izbrati najljubših. Trenutno gledam: Umberto D, Smrt gospoda Lazarescuja, On the Waterfront, A Street Car Named Desire, Ordinary People, Fugitive Pieces in še mnoge druge. Bolj študijsko jih gledam.

Vemo, poslušamo, kako težavno je posneti kinofilm v Sloveniji. Zame pa Kozoletovi niso tipična slovenska jeba, mene ne pustijo ravnodušnega in po moje angleški Sight & Sound Rezervnih delov lani ni zaman izbral med deset najpomembnejših filmov Nove Evrope. Hunger naj gre tudi tja.
