V hiši slavnih

62-letni Rudi Hiti je bil zaradi svoje pomembne vloge, ki jo je imel kot hokejist in hokejski delavec, pred dnevi sprejet v hišo slavnih mednarodne hokejske zveze. Nekdanji napadalec Jesenic in Olimpije, 17-kratni udeleženec svetovnih prvenstev in dvakratni udeleženec olimpijskih iger je bil dvakrat tudi pred vhodnimi vrati najmočnejše hokejske lige na svetu. V Severni Ameriki ni nikdar zaigral, je pa takrat kot igralec Olimpije v dveh letih zaslužil več, kot bi v treh letih igranja čez lužo. Tako je bilo v prvi polovici sedemdesetih, danes je seveda drugače. Tudi o vzporednicah med dvema različnima hokejskima obdobjema je govoril legendarni strelec.
