Dve knjigi o Kieslowskem imamo v slovenščini: izvirno Slavoja Žižka Strah pred pravimi solzami (2001) in prevedeno Kieslowski o Kieslowskem (2008, naslovnica). Žižek svojevrstno premeče Kieswloskijeve filme, predvsem novejše od Dekaloga dalje, in jih presvetli s povezavami na druge filme. Prevod založbe UMco je svež iz tiskarne in je zanimiv sešiv pogovorov z umetnikom, gladek razpored sto in sto odgovorov, bere se kot kronološka avtobiografija, predvsem ustvarjanja pa tudi gledanja na življenje. Tu je posebej privlačno, povsod je čtivo vsaj luštno za radovedne filmofile.
Emily Watson in Rachel Griffiths sta bili leta 1999 obe nominirani za oskarja. Ali je film prišel k nam v kino, ali se kdo spomni? Vsekakor je knjižnična redkost in iTIVI ga nima. Obstaja torrent. Dodozorelo pobesnelo malodušje Edwarda Elgarja, Koncert za čelo, je v filmu Jackijina téma. Badinerie je igriv stavek Bachove 2. suite v B-molu (BWV 1067) in je Hilaryjina téma. Hilary and Jackie (1998).

Vidiš, @JBT.., tako ne more iti za Doppelgängerja, ker se Veroniki uzreta, pa ne umreta. (Ali pa ena umre čez daljši čas zato, ker je uzrla drugo, morda, a manj verjetno. Mar ne bi morala iti na mestu?)

@Bo: Veroniki se ne uzreta. Weronika uzre Véronique. Med nemiri na trgu. Véronique jo opazi šele kasneje, ko razvije fotke, ki jih je poškljocala med laufanjem na bus (in ko je Weronika že na onem svetu). In ne, ne odideš na mestu, ampak čez tri tedne …

Po ogledu “Veronikinega dvojnega življenja”, hmm a je bil CD ali Komuna v 90′. Sem si kupil soundtrack.
Samo za info. Pesem ki jo Veronika poje, je: Van den Budenmayer Concerto en mi mineur (SBI 152). Glas je posodila Elzbieta Towarnicka.

P.S.: še nekaj - a mislite, da imajo doppelgangerji iste prstne odtise ali različne ? _ _ _
btw., včeraj sem na rai1 gledal film o resnični zgodbi iz leta 1930 “caso Bruneri-Canella” ; jebaje, da so bili prstni odtisi na oblinah gospe Canelle (t)isti od Brunerija - ne pa od Canelle !? _ _ _ ;-)))

Bil bi vesel ce bi enkrat vkljucili v kinotožje dokumentarni film Money Masters.
Zdi se mi se posebej aktualen zaradi finančne krize ki se odvija.

@L: Je lahko fotoaparat podaljšek oči, kot svinčnik v roki podaljša možgane? Ni potem vseeno, kaj je uzrlo Weroniko?
Nedvomno je Véronique uzrla drugo, da. (Posneta pa je bila z avtobusa, če se prav spomnim perspektive fotografije.)
(razmišljam sam pri sebi) Dogodek je prelomen, stvari se začnejo odvijati. Mar se ne začne prav takrat čas treh tednov, v katerem gre Weroniki kariera navzgor in zdravje navzdol, dvojnica pa začne stopati po zrcalni poti?

Prebral sem Žižkovo knjigo Strah pred pravimi solzami in pogledal tri barve. Moram reč, da ne v pravem obdobju svojega življenja, ker so filmi počasni, sam pa sem bil naspidiran. :-)
Zadela pa me je rdeča nit izbire. Izbire med poslanstvom - divjega pehanja za ultimativnim ciljem odličnosti - ter povprečnim mirnim življenjem. Pogodba s hudičem. Za prvo moraš tako kot Veronika/Kieslowski in mnogi drugi žrtvovati svoje zdravje, za drugo opcijo žrtvuješ talent oziroma možnost. Možnosti ( opurtunity) se pa ne spušča kar tako, ker jih je prekleto malo. Ampak po drugi strani je tudi življenje samo eno. Kar koli že izbereš, je treba it do konca. Nobena izbira ni ne prava ne napačna. Je pot!

Dobro zapisano!
Ko sem bral to kar si napisal sem se spomnil na Dr. Fausta. Morda si bral, morda pa tudi ne. Na kratko, zgodba je zapisana v dveh knjigah. Če se ne motim je v slovenski jezik preveden le Faust št.1.
V Prvi knjigi dr. Faust podpiše pogodbo s hudičem, ter mu zapiše dušo, zato da bi prišel do znanja, vendar skozi proces pridobivanja znanja izgubi modrost. V drugi knjigi pa Goethe opiše pot, kako je Faustu uspelo pridobiti modrost nazaj.
In vse to v enem življenju. Nauk: modro je korigirati smer poti, ko ugotoviš da ne vodi tam kamor si želiš :-)

@Urbi: motiš se glede prevoda Goethejevega Fausta. Sam imam prvi prevod prvega dela (Božo Vodušek), sem si pa že sposodil in bral prevod drugega dela (drugega prevajalca) in novi prevod obeh Faustov (in Prafausta) Janka Modra. Torej se motiš big time. :-) Je pa Faust karakter, ki se ogromno ukvarja s tem, po kateri in kakšni poti hodi, res lep primer.
