Ministrstvo o HPV
20. november 2008 ob 13:03 | Maja Andlovic |Ker smo v obdobju zamenjav na ministrstvu za zdravje, pa tudi zaradi finančne in gospodarske krize, nas je zanimalo, kakšno je stanje z brezplačnim cepljenjem proti virusu HPV.
V sporočilu, ki so nam ga poslali z ministrstva so nam podali dva zgleda. Najprej Irsko, ki je svojo odločitev o uvedbi brezplačnega cepljenja pred kratkim zaradi gospodarske krize in varčevalnih ukrepov zamrznila. Nato pa še sosednjo Avstrijo, ki cepiva proti HPV ni uvrstila med tista, ki sodijo v rutinski cepilni program, zato ne bodo krita iz sredstev univerzalnega zdravstvenega zavarovanja.
Študija farmakoekonomske učinkovitosti cepljenja, ki jo je naročilo ministrstvo, še poteka, odgovorila pa naj bi na vse nejasnosti (starost deklic, ki bodo cepljene, stroški ukrepov cepljenja ter določitev vrste cepiva, ki bi ga uporabljali). Po navedbah ministrstva bo študija zaključena že konec tega meseca.
Sporočilo, ki smo ga prejeli z ministrstva:
Po podatkih za leto 2006 je za rakom materničnega vratu (RMV) zbolelo 153 žensk (po treh letih organiziranega programa presejanja). Zadnji podatki registra raka glede umrljivosti so za leto 2005, ko je za RMV umrlo 39 žensk, so še zapisali na ministrstvu.
Dodali so še, da cepljenje z novo razvitim cepivom predstavlja orodje, ki bi lahko v prihodnosti dodatno prispevalo k uspehom pri obvladovanju raka materničnega vratu, ki ga države dosegajo z uvedbo organiziranega presejanja. Vendar pa se bodo rezultati cepljenja pokazali čez več desetletij, zato je še kako pomembno, da se še naprej največjo pozornost posveča organiziranemu presejanju za RMV. Ne glede na uvedbo cepljenja proti HPV, še naprej ostajajo v veljavi vsa priporočila glede rednih ginekoloških pregledov, odvzemov brisa materničnega vratu ter nujnost celovite spolne vzgoje.
